We’re a new and used bookstore built for community: a place to swap stories, trade books, and find your flock of bookish batties. Whether you’re dropping by for a book club, an author event, or just a quiet lunch-break read, you’ll always have a place to land here.
What we're about
Belfry Books is a cozy independent bookstore — part shop, part community space, and all heart.
We believe stories should connect people, not divide them. That’s why you won’t find transphobic “magic school” novels or AI-generated stand-ins for real creativity on our shelves. Every book we carry has been chosen with care, curiosity, and respect for the humans behind it, both writers and readers alike.
We also believe books are meant to circulate, not collect dust. Our trade-in program lets you bring in your finished reads and earn store credit toward new discoveries.
Beyond the stacks, Belfry Books is a roost for connection — a space for book clubs, author signings, and readers who just need a quiet corner to breathe. No pretense, just a safe, welcoming space for everyone who loves genuine stories and genuine people.
